Exposure

Exposure: From Vision to Reality

Creative Digital Media students from the University of Worcester presented a stunning range of animation, video, web, film and graphic design work, at their final degree show, Exposure.

A total of 26, third year undergraduates, put together the hi-tech exhibition, which housed at the University’s Digital Arts Centre, on its St John’s campus, from Tuesday, May 22 until Thursday, May 24.

As part of their degree, the students designed the exhibition from start to finish, including organising exhibition stands, catering, producing marketing materials, and all with an initial budget of zero!

Fundraising was an essential element of the project, with music gigs at Worcester’s Marr's Bar and backing from local businesses including a hair makeover from Bacalls in Reindeer Court, a Guitar from Music City and printing help from Kall Kwik, just some of the support.

Creative Digital Media Lecturer Helen Holmes said:

“I was thrilled with the quality of the work, and the professional attitude adopted by the students. This was a unique opportunity for the students to exhibit their work at the University, in order for friends, family and more importantly prospective employers to view the culmination of their degree work.”
