General English

The General English course at level B1+/B2 (Intermediate/Upper Intermediate) is ideal for students who want to become more confident with English, communicate more effectively in the language and develop all four skills of speaking, reading, listening and writing.

The aim of the course (12 weeks) is to help raise your awareness of English vocabulary and grammar alongside developing skills in reading and listening. The course will follow a Cambridge Language Assessment approved syllabus providing up-to-date materials and a wide range of grammar and vocabulary activities. Our general English classes focus on developing the skills required for practical everyday purposes and will enable you to communicate in a variety of situations.

Classes are held twice a week from 18:00-20:00. Materials will be provided.

If you are unsure of your level and want to register for this course, you are invited to come to the City Campus for a free interview and assessment. You will be interviewed by an English language tutor who will be able to advise you about the best course to follow. The assessment will last approximately 15 minutes.
