Visiting us is the best way to get a feel for student life at the University of Worcester. Book your place at an Open Day to discover what Worcester has to offer.

During an Open Day, you will have the opportunity to learn more about our courses from our lecturers and current students. You'll also be able to explore our campuses, including our accommodation and specialist teaching facilities.

You are more than welcome to bring guests with you to our Open Days. We can't wait to meet you!

Located in the beautiful and historic city of Worcester, we're just south of Birmingham and about an hour from Bristol.

Getting to our Open Days

Worcester is a Cathedral city in the West Midlands, to the south of Birmingham and north of Bristol. There are regular direct trains from Birmingham, Hereford, Bristol, Oxford, London and many other places. Then from Foregate Street station, you can either hop on a bus or walk to our campuses.

If you’re driving, Worcester – located just off the M5 motorway – is about 40 minutes south of Birmingham and an hour north of Bristol.

Open Days are based at our St John's Campus, postcode WR2 6AJ, City Campus, WR1 3AS and Severn Campus, WR2 5JN. Your arrival location will depend on your course of interest and you will have the opportunity to visit all three campuses during the event.

We will forward programme and registration information, along with details of where to go, in the run-up to the Open Day. For directions on getting here by public transport check out our find us page.

Campus tours

If you can't make an Open Day, you can still visit us by booking a campus tour.

Although our campus tours won’t give you the same experience as attending an Open Day (where subject talks, accommodation viewings and one-to-one chats with our teaching staff and professional departments are available), they will enable you to take a look around campus and speak to a current student.

You can book onto a campus tour on our Campus visits webpage.
