Student Achievement Team

The Student Achievement team contributes to the retention and achievement of students at the University through activities to support and develop student induction, study skills and the transition of new students into higher education.

Study skills

Many students don’t think about study skills until a few days before their first assignment – why not get ahead of the crowd and check out the study skills website now? You’ll find advice sheets, online tutorials and other great resources that will help you to fine-tune your study skills and improve your grades.

As studying can sometimes be quite stressful, why not make life easier for yourself and get ahead by signing up for some study skills workshops. Student Services run sessions on essay and report writing, maths skills, making presentations, exam skills etc. You can choose to go to as many or as few workshops as you want.

How’s it going?

Do you want to get ahead at university? Then visit the How’s it going? website, where you will find regularly updated hints and tips to help you survive your time at university. You’ll find information about all aspects of student life, including: healthy eating, where to buy a recycled computer and making the most of your time at Worcester.
