A multi-disciplinary approach (cultural/social/historical) is encouraged so that students develop their awareness of how a contemporary issue can be tackled from a range of theoretical perspectives. Module tutors will aim to facilitate independent learning, helping students cultivate a self-directed approach to a critical analysis of contemporary sports coaching.
