Melanie said she never thought she was very academic so was surprised to get top marks in her degree.
“I am now going to be studying for a PGCE as I want to become a Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator in a school,” she said. “I may return to studies in a few years' time to do my SENCo National Award and Research to achieve master's level.
Melanie said she chose to study at Worcester because the course gave her the opportunity to gain a broader perspective on the education landscape.
“Worcester gave me an opportunity to study an area of interest and one that will be a big element of teaching for the next few years anyway because of Covid-19 and the impact it has had on children’s mental health and wellbeing,” she said.
