Partnerships and initiatives

Our expert knowledge places us in a key position to contribute our expertise to innovative solutions for a wide range of partners.

Partnerships

We actively work with a range of partners to provide wider access to our programmes. We develop long-term teaching and research partnerships with academic institutions all over the world.

Our sport reputation also enables us to work closely with policy makers, who apply our research to the industry. We’re proud of the impact and financial benefit that our research has had on the economic development of the region and the UK.

To find out more about our research, read our Sport and Exercise Science Research page.

Expanding study opportunities

Our initiatives over the past 10 years have developed new, flexible approaches to learning and teaching. These projects have been central to achieving a global presence and providing access to our degrees through partner institutions.

The ability to offer flexible modes of study is a key aspect of our programmes. Worcester students welcome the opportunity to study close to their homes through our strong network of regional partnerships.

Further afield, our expanding network of international partners has opened many opportunities for staff collaboration, student exchanges and research.

Partner Colleges

The School of Sport and Exercise Science has many links with local colleges. This gives you the benefit of studying in different locations and accessing specialised facilities.

We offer the following programme in association with a partner:

International links

We actively encourage our students to study abroad. All our courses have an international element to the curriculum. For further information and links to our partnership institutions abroad, visit our International Study Abroad pages.

How to develop a partnership

We provide high quality distance and distributed learning programmes in a range of subjects. The policy for maintaining these high standards rests on good practice within the University and our approved Learning Partners.

To meet our approval conditions, the student support must meet our standards and quality requirements and the correct procedures must be followed.

Benefits of working with us:

  • Building and developing relationships with us and our global community
  • Competitive advantage of offering a reputable UK degree in different locations
  • Increased student numbers by offering a sustainable progression route from existing courses
  • Flexibility of delivery – you choose how to structure the teaching of the programme
  • Provision of high quality learning materials and rigorous examination processes
  • Support of a dedicated administrative support team with an individual contact point
