Worcester Wolves & Valencia Basket International Basketball Camp
Worcester Wolves and Valencia Basket are joining forces to deliver a unique summer residential experience for talented and aspiring young players. This camp is for 11-18 year olds.
The coaching team will include the senior coaching staff and players from the Worcester Wolves and senior coaches from Valencia Basket of the ACB league.

Dates and Location
The dates for the Worcester Wolves Valencia Camp 2024 are the afternoon of Sunday 18th August 2024 to the afternoon of Friday 23rd August 2024.
The camp will take place in the beautiful city of Worcester with training at St Johns Campus and the iconic University of Worcester Arena, one of the finest basketball training venues in Europe.
The camp will include a half-day team building session at our outdoor activity centre on Lakeside Campus.
A full schedule will be provided to all campers in advance of arrival.
Benefits
Intensive daily programme
The daily programme runs from 9am – 9pm and will include skill stations, drills, individual workouts and analysis, competitions and a minimum of two games per day.
Campers are grouped by age and ability level to provide a challenging, yet positive Worcester/Valencia Basket camp experience.
The camp will include a half-day team building session at our outdoor activity centre on Lakeside Campus.
High quality kit for players
Each player will receive official camp clothing that includes a reversible training shirt and shorts, a short-sleeved shirt, a hoodie, a bag and a water bottle.
Excellent basketball facilities
The University of Worcester Arena is an iconic and inclusive 2,000 seat venue with three competition basketball playing courts, courtside teaching facilities, corporate area and extended changing rooms with ice baths.
The Arena is the home of the Worcester Wolves and has been the training base for GB Men and Women in preparation for Eurobasket 2015 Championships. It hosted the 2015 European Wheelchair Basketball Championships.
There are an additional two basketball courts with adjoining fitness facilities at the University’s St. John’s Sports Centre.
Accommodation
University of Worcester facilities are based on a campus that has large, open and green spaces and is secure without being restrictive. Single and spacious bedrooms. Each flat has six bedrooms and a lounge area with comfortable seating. The perfect place to relax after a day on court!
The whole team at the University of Worcester are committed to health and safety, the safeguarding of young people (with relevant accreditation), and in ensuring that all those who stay with us have a safe and enjoyable experience.
Worcester Wolves
Worcester Wolves are a three-basketball team club, consisting of a men’s team, a women’s team and a women’s wheelchair team. The teams currently play in the 2,000 seat University of Worcester Arena.
The club is a well-established development programme and fields an additional junior basketball team. In partnership with the University of Worcester, the club have engaged in a wide range of international, educational, player development and research initiatives.
Valencia Basket
Founded in 1986, Valencia Basket is one of the most powerful basketball clubs in Spain & Europe. The team has played in the Spanish Elite League (ACB) for 27 of their 30 seasons and have reached the play-off finals once and have been semi-finalists on four occasions.
In 1998 the club enjoyed huge success, winning the Spanish Cup on their first year of entry. Valencia Basket have a remarkable European history, as the first team to win three Eurocup titles 2003, 2010 and 2014 which enabled them to play for three years in the prestigious Euroleague.
Valencia Basket currently has 7,500 season ticket holders and ‘sell out’ for most of the home games. The ACB´s team currently plays at Pabellón Fuente San Luis, with a total capacity of 8,500 seats.
The youth teams are an integral part of the club´s structure. More than 450 boys and girls train and enjoy basketball with Valencia Basket. This number will be doubled following the completion of the new project “La Alqueria del Basket”. La Alqueria del Basket will be a 13 basketball courts built just behind the Pabellon Fuente San Luis.
Valencia Basket have 25 years of experience of organising Basketball Camps for youth players, and are continuously searching for new ways to grow and develop as a club.
