Leah Pellington
Leah Pellington is studying for a PGCE in Secondary English after completing her English Literature and Media and Culture studies degree.
She said she wants to inspire the next generation to love the subject.
“When we went into lockdown studying for my degree became so uncertain, but lecturers were quick to adapt and provide as much extra support as was necessary to help me and other students feel that we could continue and that we could succeed.”
Leah graduates from her undergraduate degree with First Class Honours. “I’m so happy that the three years of hard work have paid off," she said.
Leah came to the University of Worcester for a number of reasons. “I chose to study at Worcester because the modules across both of my courses seemed broad in subject topic, challenging and interesting,” she said. “I also found that when I visited the University on their Open Day that the onsite accommodation was the best that I had seen in comparison to other universities I had visited; clean, bright and airy, ideally located and value for money.”
