Chloe Allen
Chloe achieve a First Class Honours in her degree in Clinical Psychology BSc (Hons).
“I am thrilled to get a First in my degree, it has been a goal of mine for years and before I started my degree,” said the 23-year-old.
Chloe, of Warndon Villages, is currently doing a Master’s degree in Mental Health Studies in London and after completing this, hopes to gain more work experience and hopefully train to become a clinical psychologist in a few years’ time.
She said as lockdown took effect that University quickly moved online for her remaining lectures. “Our tutors were still working and responded to any emails and queries really quickly,” she added. “My dissertation tutor was so helpful and offered loads of support via email and video calls. Overall it felt as close to ‘normal’ as it could have been!”
Alongside her studies, Chloe worked as a Mental Health Support Worker during the pandemic. She added that this “was challenging at times but incredibly rewarding. Balancing work with my studies wasn’t easy but definitely worth it now”.
