“I am really pleased and proud of myself for achieving a First-Class Honours, and thankful for the support and opportunities received during my time at university,” said Bradley.

During the pandemic Bradley completed his course from home, where he was able to receive support from lecturers via email or zoom meetings. He said: “Despite the uncertain times I was able to use my time effectively to concentrate on my studies and complete them to the best of my ability. I feel the University provided me with the necessary support to complete my course, although it was a strange and unexpected way to finish my time at university.”

Bradley is now working as a teaching assistant at a school for children with special educational needs to gain some invaluable experience. In the future he plans to complete his teacher training in order to qualify as a teacher of Physical Education.

There were a number of factors that drew Bradley to study locally. “I chose the University of Worcester because talking to past students and college lecturers I received positive feedback,” he said. “Additionally, Worcester as a city was a place where I felt comfortable and safe to be able to reach my full potential.”
