They’ve partnered with Her Game Too, which aims to create inclusive environments for players while raising awareness of women’s voices within sports.

The partnership enables the team to promote gender equality, enhance inclusivity, and create a safe and welcoming environment for female players and fans.

Holly Neal is the Chair of Women’s Cricket at the University, she said: “Her Game Too is an incredible initiative, and this partnership reflects the values of the University of Worcester’s Women’s Cricket.”

She said: “We want to show girls of all ability that cricket is a safe sport to come and have fun and develop skills without judgement of any sort. The whole society is like a massive family which looks out for each other.”

She added: “We look forward to the publicity that this partnership can bring to the University of Worcester and demonstrating to girls why Worcester is the best university choice; especially for cricket!”

Charlotte Beaman-Evans, Senior Lecturer in Physical Education, and Sport Lead for the University, said: “We are immensely proud of our women’s cricket team for establishing this partnership with the Her Game Too Campaign.”

She continued: “The partnership is of paramount importance to the University of Worcester, as it addresses critical issues that can often act as barriers to female participation in sports, potentially leading to people not engaging.”
