Worcester's new professional netball team is delighted to announce its partnership with Gilbert Netball.
Gilbert Netball will be the official ball supplier for Severn Stars, a partnership franchise for the Vitality Netball Superleague between the University of Worcester and University of Gloucestershire, for 2017/18.
Severn Stars Superleague team, including the National Performance League side and its pathways, will use the world's number one netball ball.
Gilbert said it was thrilled that Severn Stars had selected Gilbert balls as its ball supplier of choice, which it said was a demonstration of the performance of Gilbert's incomparable ball manufacturing and design.
Of the deal, Severn Stars Director of Netball, Pamela Cookey, said: "I'm really pleased that Gilbert Netball and Seven Stars will be working together in this ball partnership. Gilbert produces quality products for use around the globe at the highest netball levels. At Severn Stars we strive to be the best and as such use the best equipment for training and match play."
Severn Stars Head Coach Mo'onia Gerrard said: "Having Gilbert associated with Severn Stars ensures us we will be training and playing with the world's best sports equipment which can only benefit our team and players on and off the court."
