Afsana Begum-Mirza is a dedicated Secondary Science PGCE Lecturer at Worcester University. With extensive teaching experience in secondary schools and further education institutions across London and Birmingham.

Afsana has excelled in various roles, including Head of Science, Curriculum Coordinator, and Staff Governor. Based in central London, she has led initiatives aimed at enhancing teaching and learning experiences for both staff and students.

Specialising in leading teacher development, Afsana has received her National Professional Qualification in Leading Teacher Development (NPQLTD) from University College London (UCL). Since 2018, she has dedicated to supporting and mentoring both experienced teachers and early career teachers, a role she finds incredibly rewarding.

Afsana is deeply committed to education and offers an invaluable understanding of teaching experience. She is enthusiastic about sharing effective classroom practices with aspiring teachers and broadening their understanding of classroom dynamics.
