Bill has held senior Marketing positions in the automotive industry, covering all key strategic and operational disciplines, with assignments both at head office and with regional subsidiaries. Most recently Bill has played central roles in the expansion and growth of Jaguar Land Rover as a global operation. He also has experience in senior Business Operations and Sales & Operations Planning roles, and has a keen interest in the operational challenges, both external and internal, faced by businesses in the global context. Other professional interests include the strategy of brand-building, new product development and the application of marketing theory in practice.
Bill's teaching interests at UoW and elsewhere include Marketing, Branding and Business Strategy, at undergraduate and Masters level.
Bill holds a degree in Economic and Social Studies from the University of Manchester, and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, of which he has been a member for almost 25 years.
