Catherine qualified as a HCPC registered dietitian in 2016. Since then, she has worked in several NHS hospitals, gaining experience as a dietitian in a variety of clinical specialities, including neurology, older adults and critical care. Whilst working as a dietitian, Catherine also completed a Master’s degree in Medical Ethics and Law. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed supporting students from a range of different healthcare courses throughout their education and training them to become confident and caring health care professionals.

Teaching Interests
Catherine has recently moved into Higher Education from clinical practice and is interested in empowering students with the knowledge and skills required to become successful healthcare practitioners.
Research Interests
Catherine has an interest in critical care, neurology and enteral feeding. She is particularly interested in the role of the dietitian.
