I joined the University of Worcester as a Senior Lecturer in August 2022. I graduated from Birmingham Medical School in 2005 and completed my GP training in 2010. I worked for 9 years as a partner in General Practice in the Wyre Forest. During this time I led a visiting service which enabled me to further develop my skills in areas I am passionate about-End of Life Care and Care of patients living with frailty.
I have been involved in teaching medical students, nurse practitioners and GP trainees during my career as a General Practitioner.
I have extensive clinical leadership experience which started as a role as Quality Lead GP in the Wyre Forest in 2012, I then became Chair of Wyre Forest Clinical Commissioning Group for three years in 2016. I was also a Medical Director for Herefordshire and Worcestershire Clinical Commissioning Group until June 2021.

Teaching Interests
I am a problem-based learning facilitator for the MBChB course.
My main areas of teaching interests are-communication skills, medical complexity, person centred care, End of Life Care and Care of patients living with Frailty.
