Emma is full-time PhD student in the School of Education at the University of Worcester.
Emma’s main research interest is Educational Leadership and her PhD research concerns educational leadership in crisis and how cluster groups facilitate this. She is conducting a mixed methods study into the ways in which headteacher cluster groups impact upon their ability to provide quality leadership in times of crisis.
Her supervisors are Dr Carla Solvason, Dr Marie Stephenson and Prof. Geoffrey Elliot.
Emma is very grateful to the University of Worcester for funding her PhD.
Prior to commencing her PhD, Emma worked as a Primary Teacher in a local First School and continues to work closely with a number of educational settings throughout her studies as well as taking part in teaching on a number of undergraduate courses at the University.
Prior to this she was a leader of a small Early Years setting.
