Jane is part-time PhD student in the School of Education at the University of Worcester.
Jane’s main research interest is teenage wellbeing. Her PhD research concerns the use of nature-based activities to support older teenagers with their mental health. She is conducting a qualitative study into the value of nature-based activities for improving emerging mental health issues in college students.
Her supervisors are Professor Stephen Parker and Dr Gabriela Misca
In addition to working towards her PhD Jane works as a lecturer for Shrewsbury Colleges Group in Shropshire.
