Jessica has experience in teaching Sport, Disability Sport, Social Sciences, Employability and Academic Skills across a range of educational settings. This includes Secondary Education, Specialist and Mainstream Further Education providers along with undergraduate teaching. This has provided the opportunity to contribute to the construction and evaluation of a range of provision, including SEND specific. As a result, she has gained vast experience in multi-agency working alongside many professionals within Education, Health and Care.

The varied subject matters and various settings they were taught, allowed Jessica to interact with extremely diverse students. This provided an in-depth understanding of the factors which could compound and result in injustice or privilege being experienced by the individual or demographic. The combination of these experiences along with my MA in Education and Social Justice research has provided context to some current challenges faced in Education. Jessica enjoys creating a positive and conducive learning environment within the classroom whereby critical thinking is paramount.
