Kelvin is a part-time PhD student in the University of Worcester, where he benefits from interdisciplinary supervision.
Kelvin’s main research interest is in the processes by which newly formed North American Christian denominations entered and developed in Britain in the late 19th/early 20th century. His research is in its early stages and is focusing, at present, on Seventh-Day Adventists and Christian Scientists.
His supervisors are Professor Stephen Parker, Dr Lynn Nichol, and Dr Ian Jones.
While working for a multi-national, Kelvin’s career spanned engineering, change management, IT, M&A, asset disposals and outsourcing. Upon retirement, Kelvin developed an interest in Religious History.
