Naomi has been in the role of Work Based Learning Tutor since 2015, supporting students to find and start placements, and teaching on the various Work Based Learning modules. Naomi loves working with our Foundation Degree students and mentors – finding ways to make the placement experience as positive as possible for everyone and sharing in the journey from induction to graduation.
Naomi's background is in speech and language therapy, and primary education, and she has a particular interest in supporting neurodiverse students (a topic she researched further during her recent PG). Naomi is continuing her studies on a MSc Psychology of Mental Health & Wellbeing degree which is proving very interesting and has acted as a great reminder of the challenges a lot of our students experience – particularly those working and parenting alongside their studies!
