Neil Smith is an experienced International HR, Leadership and Management specialist with a robust background in both commercial and educational sectors across including work in the UK and East / South-East Asia. His expertise lies in enhancing organisational health and performance through people-centred, results-oriented approaches.
Neil has held various roles in higher education institutions, including the University of Worcester, where he has been responsible for teaching, course leadership, and developing apprenticeship programmes. He has significant experience in managing and delivering both HR and Leadership and Management courses, accredited by both the CIPD and CMI.
Neil's voluntary work includes serving as the Chair of the Black Country CIPD Branch, and he is currently a PHD student with a focus on the leadership of portfolio workers for employee engagement.
Describing his approach as Prac-ademic, a mixture of practical and academic focus, Neil brings a practical and student-focused approach to his roles, ensuring that his teaching methods are not only academically rigorous but also relevant to real-world applications. His commitment to education is further demonstrated by his ongoing pursuit of a PhD, following his Master of Science in HR Management from the University of Worcester.
