Having joined the University in September 2023, Su is the Senior Lecturer leading the PGCE Secondary Mathematics course. Su works as the subject lead and personal academic tutor as part of Secondary ITT.
Su has experience of teaching in a wide variety of educational institutions across the world for many years. Su has been a Head of Mathematics, Senior Teacher, Assistant Headteacher, leading on teaching and learning, accountability and CPD. Her passion for teaching, and commitment to the fact that we are all mathematicians has enabled her to support students, staff and schools to improve the outcomes and profiles of mathematics. Su is determined to continue raising the profile and enjoyment of mathematics and this drives her to ensure that the next generation of teachers share this vision widely.
