Vicky graduated from Birmingham University in 2006. She started her career in a private sports injury clinic before moving into the NHS.
Vicky developed a passion for Complex trauma rehabilitation where she spent 12 years working as a team leader on the Major trauma wards at the Queen Elizabeth hospital and at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre.
Vicky started her Trauma Science MSc completing the rehabilitation module and enjoyed being back in higher education.

PG Aff Trauma Science – Musculoskeletal Trauma and Rehabilitation module 2023
Enrolled on PG Cert in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education to commence September 2024
Teaching Interests
Vicky is passionate about MSK rehabilitation with a specialist interest in trauma, burns and spinal cord injuries.
Research Interests
- Bone infections and fracture healing and the implications they have on rehabilitation.
- Amputee rehabilitation and Osseointegration.
