New EU Students Starting in 2024/25 and 2025/26
The UK Government has confirmed that EU students starting their course after August 2021 will no longer pay the home rate for fees or be eligible for undergraduate, postgraduate and advanced learner financial support from Student Finance England.
However, at the University of Worcester we have decided that (with the exception of the Medicine MBChB), during this period of transition, EU students starting their studies in the academic years 2024/25 and 2025/26 will continue to be eligible for the home rate of fees for the duration of their study programmes.
The changes confirmed by the UK Government will not affect Irish nationals, EU students who have settled or pre-settled status, or EU, other EEA and Swiss nationals benefitting from Citizens’ Rights under the EU Withdrawal Agreement, EEA EFTA Separation Agreement or Swiss Citizens’ Rights Agreement respectively.
Eligibility for home fees is subject to various criteria. For more information, and to confirm your eligibility, please contact our International team via international@worc.ac.uk

Michaela Kolarova - Czech Republic - BA Marketing, Advertising & PR
Studying Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations at the University of Worcester was an incredibly fulfilling experience that prepared me for a successful career in digital marketing. The hands-on and practical nature of the course, together with my placement, allowed me to apply what I learned in real-life scenarios and land a graduate job in my field in no time.
In addition, Worcester's picturesque city made me feel at home as an international student. Not only was it an environment where I could focus on my studies, but I could also find part-time work, have fun, and make lasting memories.
Last but not least, I made lifelong friendships and professional connections during my time at the university, which is a testament to Worcester's close-knit, friendly, and supportive community.

Studying at Worcester not only gave me a chance to meet people who have become my best friends but also skills which have been extremely useful as I’m taking the first steps in my career.
The equipment and facilities we used during my journalism course have already proven for me to be what professionals use in the industry.
I appreciated my lecturers especially for knowing when to give constructive criticism of your work and when to offer encouragement. I’ll always have a piece of my heart in Worcester, and I couldn’t be happier about it!
