James is part-time PhD student in the School of Allied Health and Community at the University of Worcester.

James’s main research interests are the influence psychological attitudes and workplace environments have on office worker’s sedentary behaviour and how this impacts psychological health. His PhD research is looking at the impact a behaviour change intervention has on office worker’s sitting time and psychological health.

His supervisors are Dr Helen Scott and Professor Derek Peters.

James is also an Hourly Paid Lecturer at the University of Worcester, working in the Institute of Health and Society.
